Ava Grace Baldwin is a missing 16-year-old girl and the victim of a family abduction. She was last seen on September 17, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas, when she was just 6-years-old. Ava Grace is believed to be in the company of her non-custodial mother, Kathryn Ann “Katie” Baldwin, who has a felony warrant for interfering with child custody. Baldwin has a history of alcohol and prescription drug abuse and suffers from mental illness.
 

At the time of Ava Grace's disappearance, Baldwin and Ava Grace’s father, David Hopper, shared joint custody. After Hopper sought full custody due to concerns about Baldwin’s ability to keep Ava Grace safe, Baldwin vanished with their daughter. In April 2016, seven months later, Baldwin’s silver 2014 Ford Escape was found abandoned in a San Antonio parking lot, but there was no sign of Ava Grace or Baldwin.
 

Baldwin’s family has stated they believe both Ava Grace and Kathryn are deceased, but Hopper and his family strongly disagree. They remain steadfast in their belief that Ava Grace is alive and being hidden, possibly with the help of friends or relatives. Baldwin is known to have family ties in Texas, Oklahoma, California, Florida, and Illinois, as well as friends across the country.
 

Hopper and his family refuse to give up hope. Their only wish is for Ava Grace to be safely returned home to the family who loves her deeply and will never stop searching for her.
