Iman Cannon
Shortly after midnight on May 13, 2008, the body of 21-year-old Iman Cannon was discovered behind a multi-use building at 2521 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, near Club Crucial in Atlanta. Iman had been shot twice.
A recent transplant from Nashville, Tennessee, Iman was well known at Club Crucial, where he regularly attended open-mic nights. He was deeply immersed in the local music scene, eager to share his talent and connect with fellow artists.
Many years later, Iman’s family is still searching for answers. They remember him as a vibrant, passionate young man with dreams of building a future in music. Their heartbreak remains compounded by the lack of resolution, and they continue to plead for anyone with information to come forward.
To date, no arrests have been made in connection with Iman’s death. The Atlanta Police Department continues to investigate and urges anyone with information to contact them directly. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Atlanta Crime Stoppers.
