Katie Ferguson is a Caucasian female who disappeared while on a cross country trip from Alabama to Wyoming with her estranged boyfriend Adam Aviles, Jr, their two small children and boxer dog. She was last seen on police body camera footage on October 5, 2023 in Trumann, Arkansas. Days later, on October 9, 2023 at 5:55 pm, Aviles was stopped in Morris County, Texas by a Trooper for driving on the wrong side of the road and on an improved shoulder. He was cited for a child safety seat violation. Court documents state that investigators reviewed the body camera footage from the Texas traffic stop and that Katie was not in the vehicle, and they noticed there was a taped-over bullet hole in the passenger-side door.

On November 4, 2023, Aviles’ vehicle, a 1999 black Dodge Durango, was found abandoned near Cody, Wyoming with signs of foul play. Investigators stated that the front passenger seat was missing, a Glock pistol magazine was found, the vehicle had the smell of putrefied blood, and the vehicle had a projectile hole on the inside and outside of the front passenger door.

Katie is 5'9" tall, 150-180 lbs with blue eyes. She is known to dye her hair, and could have brown or blonde hair. Katie is described as a loving mother, daughter and sister who enjoyed clothes and fashion. She is incredibly missed by her family.

Aviles Jr., 26, is currently incarcerated on ammunition charges and has been identified as a person of interest in the disappearance of Katie Ferguson, who went missing in Trumann, Arkansas on oct 5, 2023, while on a cross country road trip to Wyoming with Aviles, their two small children, and boxer dog.
